Safe, quiet and child-friendly
On a low-traffic campsite, peace comes first. Children play and cycle safely without passing traffic, and in the evening you are not disturbed by cars.
Every pitch is 8 to 10 metres wide and screened by green hedges, so you really have your own quiet spot. We are not completely car-free – you park your car in the car park, not on the field – but that is exactly what makes it so quiet.

Breathable groundsheets only
At Camping Willemshoeve only breathable groundsheets are allowed, to protect the grass and the soil.
Low-traffic
Enjoy a car-free camping field. Your car is parked safely in our car park.
Chemical toilet disposal
Emptying waste water and filling up water tanks is free for motorhomes.
Dogs welcome
Dogs are welcome and stay for free. Always keep them on a lead outside your own pitch. Max. 2 dogs.

Stays run from 13:00 to 11:00. Want to check in earlier or check out later? Just ask the manager.
Nienoord Estate is just around the corner
Quiet camping here does not mean there is nothing to do. Nienoord Estate, with its family park, swimming castle and Carriage Museum, is about 3 kilometres away, roughly 10 minutes by bike.
The Leekstermeer, the lively Roden and the vast Fochteloërveen are also close by. At the campsite you get free hot showers, hot water and Wi-Fi and dogs are welcome (free, maximum two).

Since 1 April 2026 Peter and Eleni have been welcoming you to Camping Willemshoeve, formerly Camping De Holbargen. A quiet, safe campsite with a warm welcome – that is what they stand for.
