At Camping Willemshoeve we handle your personal data with care. In this statement you can read which data we collect, why we do so, how long we keep it and what rights you have. You can also read which cookies this website uses.

What data do we process and why?
Booking
When you book a pitch or accommodation, we need data to process your booking and arrange your stay properly. Think of your name, address, email address, phone number, arrival and departure dates, the number of people, any pets and, if you are an SVR member, your membership for the discount. We process this data because it is necessary to perform the agreement with you.
Online booking takes place via the booking system of uwboeking.com. That company processes your data on our behalf and may not use it for anything else.
During your stay
As an accommodation provider we are legally required to keep a guest register and pay tourist tax to the municipality. For this we record, among other things, your name, place of residence and the dates of your stay. For guests from outside the Netherlands this may also include nationality and the type of identity document. We do this because the law requires it.
Contact
If you call, email or message us, we only use your data to answer your question and help you further.
Payment
You pay on site, in cash or by debit card. We keep the data needed for our accounts.
Website visits
When you visit this website, technical data is processed, such as your IP address and browser type. This is needed to display and secure the website. If you have given consent for statistics, we use Google Analytics to measure how the website is used. Read more about this under Cookies.
How long do we keep your data?
- Booking and stay data: as long as needed for your booking and stay, and after that as long as the law requires.
- Financial records: 7 years, due to the statutory tax retention obligation.
- Guest register: as long as the law prescribes.
- Contact messages: until your question has been dealt with, and at most 1 year after that.
- Your cookie choice: 6 months. After that we ask for your consent again.
Who do we share your data with?
We never sell your data. We only share it when necessary:
- uwboeking.com, for the online booking system.
- Our hosting provider and website administrator (Lammerts Online Media), who manage the website technically. Our website is hosted on servers in the Netherlands.
- Google, only if you give consent for statistics, videos or maps.
- The municipality, insofar as this is necessary for the tourist tax.
We make agreements on security and confidentiality with parties that process data on our behalf.
Cookies
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. We always place necessary cookies, because the website does not work properly without them. For all other cookies we first ask for your consent via the cookie banner. Declining is just as easy as accepting.

We use Google Analytics in the most privacy-friendly way possible: data is not shared for advertising, and we use Google Consent Mode, so Google does not place cookies without consent.
Marketing & media (only with consent)
If we show a video or map from another party, such as YouTube, Vimeo or Google Maps, that party may place cookies. Without your consent we do not load that video or map. Instead you see a notice with which you can still show it.

Booking module
The booking module on the Booking page is loaded from uwboeking.com. That party may place its own functional cookies that are needed to complete your booking. You can read more about this in the privacy statement of uwboeking.com.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. Click the button below or the cookie icon at the bottom left of the screen.
You can also delete cookies via your browser settings.
Security
We take appropriate measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access. The website uses a secure connection (https). Only people who need the data for their work have access to it.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data;
- have incorrect data corrected;
- have your data deleted if we no longer need to keep it;
- have the processing restricted;
- object to the processing;
- have your data transferred to another party;
- withdraw your consent.
Send your request to info@camping-willemshoeve.nl. We respond within one month. To make sure the request comes from you, we may ask you to identify yourself.
